I am an artist and entrepreneur hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. My background in film and television has honed my eye for composition, lighting, color, and energy. While pursuing engineering, I explored 3D animation, which eventually led me to film school. Soon after graduation, I started a VFX company called RaceRocks Digital and found myself working on Hollywood TV shows within a year. My work earned me an Emmy for ABC’s Lost and three other nominations over eight years.
This success laid the foundation for my next company, RaceRocks 3D, which develops VR and game-based training systems for the aerospace sector. While this venture was rewarding, it lacked the hands-on artistic expression I craved. So, after a 20-year hiatus, I returned to painting.
